A little late as the internet went out yesterday a few notes on the latelies here…
1. Garden Abloom: Seriously, every day there is something new popping up back there. The view in this little pic is actually the view out of my bedroom, and I have to say, it’s such a huge joy to see it when you wake up, especially since I sleep on the side closest to it. And as a bonus, on rainy days, it looks even prettier – more flowers!
2. Nesting: I hit a bit of a stall on the decorating thing as the winter was winding down. Which leaves us with an empty cavern of a dining room and a half done bedroom but I was inspired by these ideas for rental spaces… Back on the horse!
3. Pondering.… this wig. This popped up in some product feed or other as “Products picked especially for you…”. Hmmmm….perhaps for the next diplomatic function? I think I could make a real statement.
4. Floating...I absolutely loved the photographs from Peter Gentenaar’s installation in the Netherlands…These paper sculptures seem completely weightless, reminds me of the many colors and shapes you see underwater when scuba diving…I’d love to see these in person.
AMAZING AMAZING garden view. You are so lucky. I would imagine rainy days sitting in bed with a book would be the best. I am going to post a blog about my view someday. Lol, I'm pretty sure it's beige corrugated metal! My rooftop (shared) view of the city is pretty nice, though.
thanks, Marina! It actually makes waking up pretty easy (a good thing since it's bright daylight about 4: 30 am now !)
