Easter is coming – packages are arriving! I did find my Royal Copenhagen eggs in the end by the way, and since much of our entertaining stash is in storage somewhere between Copenhagen and Amman, I had to stock up on a few goods. In looking for things, I came across a few pictures from last year’s Easter that I hadn’t yet shared.
These are from the hallway we had that connected the two parts of our Danish mid-century house. That house was like an “H” shape, with this hallway connecting the two halves. Since it was entirely glass on one side, it let in a lot of light, even on the dreariest of days. Our travel trunk sideboard was a bit of a catch all area for our tot’s Easter animals and various spring nests. I miss this natural way of decorating from Denmark, not to mention the time that everyone gets off to welcome the season appropriately, but excited to host Easter here again at home.
Ps – The eggs in this picture are from Vienna and Salzburg Easter markets – those have been traveling with us for years now and remarkably we’ve managed not to break every single one yet!
