Which means that when Flora 2000 sent over this lovely bunch of colored blooms at the end of last week, I put them outside and we’ve been enjoying them over dinner pretty much every single night since…I love to order flowers for others, but have never really figured out a way to do it well here in Europe. Some of that infrastructure just isn’t as “easy” as click click click which is the way I would do it in the states. But Flora 2000 is pretty close to the ease I’m used to, which will make deliveries, especially for holidays and birthdays much easier.
Fair warning, when the flowers arrive, they don’t come in a box or vessel as we might expect in the US, but they are hand assembled and hand packed by florists, so they still arrive in great condition. Also fair warning, it can get spendy, but that’s true for flower delivery in general. They deliver to 190 countries which means you have your global circuit covered in just about anywhere you might need…no more excuses for us when we’re abroad.
And speaking of holidays, here are a few mother’s day picks that struck my fancy with Mother’s Day coming up….
