When I’m in Copenhagen, I have an office that I go to but lately, with all the half days that come about because there are flights on the other half of said day, or if its’ a Friday, I’ve been working from home – it’s just easier sometimes. Naturally, if I work from home, I don’t much have to dress up for anyone but myself but I find I can’t get much done if I don’t actually ‘get dressed’. With spring coming up, I’m looking forward to shedding some of the sweaters and bumping up the tops a bit.
I usually have on jeans (new faves are the toothpicks – I normally couldn’t wear these as they weren’t too forgiving on the curvy ladies but with the new stretch we’ve got a new lease on denim life over here) or matchsticks, or my cropped black pants if things are feeling a bit fancy over here. So I’ve been making a list of a few tops that I think would fit the bill – not too blah, but not too stiff – just right for a pair of flats and a mug of coffee…Throw on heels after work and maybe a handsome diplo-man just might swing by to whisk you away for a sushi evening…
ps- – that pink one? it’s made of neoprene. it’s kind of like scuba diving in your office. practically hawaii.
pps – the jeweled t-shirt? love it. but you know i’m waiting for a sale…i’m a little too practical for that.
