/ Home Sweet Home: I posted this to my Instagram a bit ago, but we our house it slowly coming together. They say it always takes six months to put a house together and everytime we move I’m determined that we beat that metric and every time, we come much closer to it than I would like. Technically we’ve been here for about two and a half months in the house, but with all the travel, does that really count as full time? Anyway, we did a lot of “little stuff” this weekend, like hanging pictures and sorting closets and finally the end, while not here, is in sight.
/ The Equals Record: Some of you might remember the weekly column I had over at hte Equals Record called Lessons for Clara. I loved doing it, but a weekly schedule was getting harder and harder to keep, and at just the right time, the publication itself changed over from a daily schedule to a weekly one, with each week focused on a different theme. Thrilled to be contributing again, this time to the issue on democracy, from the perspective of forest school students.
/ Thailand Wanderlust: I love the travels photo essays over at Style Me Pretty Living but the one on Thailand most recently, by Love is my Favorite Color really was something. Going to Thailand was hands down one of my favorite trips ever, and I’ve always had a bit of heart break because when returning, in a fog of jet lag, I left my camera on a connecting flight and never saw it again. Since I don’t have any photos of that trip, I always have a soft spot for anyone else’s.
/ Holiday Sparkle: I’m not on the hook for hosting Thanksgiving this year but keep eyeing this Tory Burch dress that you could make work for just about every holiday on the winter horizon. In fact, I was just at a wedding, and totally kicking myself for not finding this one sooner, it would have been a perfect fit there too. Trying to decide if I should go for it…
/ The Thanksgiving Guide: And speaking of Style Me Pretty Living, not only is it a travel go-to but it’s also a cooking, lifestyle, everything else go-to. Again, I’m not hostess this Thanksgiving but loved their guide to keeping the holiday fun and simple and it’s full of ideas for any holiday table – hoping they have more of these coming!
