Well, since it’s cold and raining here in Copenhagen, I decided there’s not much to do but to get a jump start on Fall. More so because on last week’s London trip I noticed my trusted totes (one I packed in, one was my work bag) were finally showing signs of some unmistakable wear. Since of the next six weeks, I’m really only home about 10 days, it’s perhaps at least time to start investigating some back up options for a little “big” fall bag to get me through those airport runs.
Fall travel gets me every time with this day job – it certainly keeps things interesting but keeps things busy too so one big compartment, the ability to fit in a laptop plus a myriad of sundries while keeping a structured look is pretty key. Ability to convert into an overnight bag is another one. I love the third option in the same way I loved the white carpet I bought for our DC apartment once – so beautiful in color but probably not so practical for the reality of my not so dainty ways. A true camel (caramel?) color seems to be saying “durable autumn” to me…so the only question now is Camel number 1? Or Camel number 2?
