Alt Summit: 5 Quotes...

Returning from Alt Summit can leave you with one or both of two things....inspired to do more and be more, or lost completely in an identity crisis of what it is that you actually should be doing. The trick is to combine those two feelings and then channel them into the right direction. When you meet that many people that you find to be inspirations, it's easy think about getting lost in the world of comparisons...This person has this or that or these skills or those connections.

But the truth is everyone forges their own path, and no one is without their own struggle in some way. It just might not be immediately apparent to you. And I think even the ‘big’ people feel like that – it certainly came across that way in some of their wise words.

There will be a multitude of recaps from the event and as I process my own thoughts, here are five quotes that resonated for me, even though I have nearly a notebook full of pages and pages of notes…if I remember nothing else, I hope these stick with me this year.

  2. Love these quotes and the pictures. I may have to also do a round-up of my favorite quotes from Alt. It was so nice meeting you at the Hello Social. I am in awe (and have just a twang of jealousy) of your life.

  7. Can I admit something? I lost my notebook somewhere during Alt. That means I have zero ZERO of the inspirational quotes I wrote down.
