It was snowing this morning in London…SNOWING. Although really that shouldn’t be so surprising, it is December after all. But continuing on the theme of sunshine, let’s get some more of that here today. Last week I was in Dallas for a mere 24 hours for work (isn’t it crazy how we can do that these days – fly halfway across the country for less than a day and fly back?). I wasn’t there long, so sights on the visit consisted of a deserted dark highway on the way to the hotel, the hotel, the conference room of the hotel, the mall that was attached to the hotel (where I noticed Christmas was in a full, Texas-sized swing), the deserted highway on the way back to the airport and the airport itself. Now…I know that there is way more to Dallas than just that, but that’s all I got this time around. Nonetheless, it was great to get a dose of super sunshine – it seemed to be blazing every time I looked outside. I even rolled down the window the entire way to the airport just to get a extra hit of Vitamin D. That, plus the fact that my cab driver seemed to love Phil Collins as much as I do since we were listening to the CD the whole way pretty much made it a perfect drive.
