Photography Friday: Holiday Eggs!

Last year, we indulged in Vienna's Easter Markets and spent the holiday in Poland, but this year I don't quite know what will be on the docket - we have gotten a bit last minute in our planning.  Claudia Muir's Easter Eggs from her hometown in Bayern, Germany have me all inspired to go colorful this year.  The eggs have a beautiful handmade touch and I'm thinking I might stock up on some dyes and markers on my way home from work today for some impromptu "pisanki".

Not only are the garlands stunning that the town but so are her pictures of them.  Claudia, who I met through Me Ra Koh's Confidence workshop and stayed in touch with since, is a family photographer living the diplo-nomadic lifestyle, usually in the "-stans" somewhere, but currently in Germany.  You can check out more of her work on her own website  (expats, take note, she specializes in our kind) and more Easter pictures of Bayern on her blog here.  Warning: these might make you want to throw on a dirndle and leiderhosen on the whole family for your weekend celebrations.

Wishing you a Happy Easter and Pesach Same'ach for those celebrating this weekend!
