Since I seem to be unable to stop taking pictures of blooms (see here, here and here), I seem to have all kinds of blooms on the brain. And with the weather turning to the nicer side, it’s time to start scouring sites and sales for good summer dresses for the diplo-babe. She’s pushing 15 months but comfortably fits in 2T – and if anything, it’s been fitting better these days. Walking and running means somewhat slimmer legs so getting jeans on is still a battle, but not the battle it used to be.
But this isn’t about jeans, it’s about dresses. So here’s a kind of funny thing. When you buy infant dresses, they usually come with a set of bloomers to match. Right? Becuase who want’s to stare a bare diaper full of elmo when your tot inevitably lifts her dress over her head? Not me. But when you get to 2T sizing, the bloomers disappear. No more bloomers. So now I have to seemingly look for two things – dresses and bloomers separately. Jacadi (our goto for all things lady-like for DB) has them but $42 is a bit steep for something that is exclusively used to cover a diaper if you know what I mean. Though, I fall for the Liberty fabrics every time.
Any other strategies for hiding lady tot unmentionables?
aw so cute!
