We're just back from a long weekend in Salzburg and Berchtesgaden which means fresh mountain air and lots of time parked in our favorite solarium (more on that to come), the latter which gives us an opportunity to catch up on all of our critical periodical reading.
This month's GQ features a spread with Austria's very own Christophe Waltz, known for the bad guy role in Inglorious Basterds, and now taking up the bad guy with midlife crisis role in the Green Hornet. Mr. Waltz is photographed modeling various "solid-solid-solid" looks (solid suit, solid shirt, solid tie), which, is pared with GQ's various helpful tips such as "Start with pink. Believe it or not, all of us can pull it off" (which I tend to agree with but most guys probably don't) and "The formula for nighttime is to go dark with all three tones" (makes sense). To top it off, the spread is photographed against the backdrop of the gorgeous Los Angeles County Museum of Art, now on my list to visit next time we're in sunny CA.
So...to the solids gentlemen!
Photograhy from GQ.
