A seat at the table...

One of the most fun parts of Thanskgiving is planning the actual table.  And as this is the time of celebrating gratitude and bounty, Thanksgiving is a holiday that really merits a bit of thought into how things could look - especially once you picture everyone around the table with you.  It doesn't have to be frilly, but there's something about wanting to cast a warm glow around which everyone feels welcome.

I haven't made a final decision around ours but the following settings from Martha Stewart, HGTV and Eddie Ross have given me some thoughts. Needless to say, I won't be making my own handmade pinecone turkeys as Martha suggests were just "so easy", but we're hoping to create something seasonal, organic and beautiful nonetheless.

Table Settings 1-4 from Martha Stewart.
Table Settings 5-8 from HGTV.
Table Settings 9-11 from Eddie Ross.
