It's been awhile since I've done a diplo-style, probably because I've been focusing on saving the few shreds of vanity I have left while expanding to full diplo-baby carrier size. I get bigger seemingly by the day (and still a month to go! Maybe my cab driver was right the other day when he insisted I had twins and just didn't know it since his wife was never that big). While Isabella Oliver and Gap Maternity basics have been keeping me largely straight and narrow of as close to my usual style as possible, I haven't had the same eye out for classic looks and pieces that I normally would.
But seeing a pretty solid collection of Lela Rose pieces on Rue La La made me hope that skinny days will be here again! Since breaking out onto the scene less than 10 years ago, Lela Rose has been designing classic silhouettes with solid tailoring, but unfortunately for me, at some pretty high prices. The Rue La La sale made a lot of her pieces much more reachable. I'm still a bit nervous to order anything for post-diplo baby as we'll see how the return to normalcy goes, but if it were just me, here's what would be in my cart.
